Hello Hong Kong!

I arrived to Hong Kong almost 24 hours after I left Denver. The first thing I noticed about Hong Kong is that Hong Kong is a city of skyscrapers. I knew it was but seeing the city in all its glory made me marvel at the buildings. Hong Kong made me realize how beautiful and different each building can be. There are so many different images of Hong Kong, the crowded streets, that towering skyscrapers, the forested green hills surrounding the city, and the blue water of the ocean surrounding the city. Some things about the city are just not captured in images though. The streets, sidewalks, signs and public transportation stations and cars are all pristine. The buildings are not the only shiny objects in Hong Kong, almost every car in the city is shiny and clean as they zip by you. Hong Kong was a truly unique city to visit. Below are some pictures that I took while in the city.

A view of Stanley Village.

Two pictures above is a view of Hong Kong from a ferry boat that I rode to Kowloon. One picture above is me standing on the pier before boarding the ferry.
