By my third week in Laos I still had not visited the morning market. The market is only open to 11:30 am and is filled with vendors and stalls selling food, cloth and jewelry. Well Hoa's friends from Vietnam arrived and the next morning the four of us and Madame Xuyen decided to go to the market. After we parked the car we ran into Arro who had just driven up in front of us to shop! We all went into the market and I was greeted to an array of stall filled with beautiful weavings and other stall filled with electronic goods. The second floor of the market is filled with jewelry stalls, they are selling silver and gold pieces that are both beautiful and intricate. I did not buy anything at the market but really enjoyed browsing the market.
